REASSURANCE /riːəˈʃʊərəns/ noun : the action of removing someone’s doubts or fears. While reassurance is a constant human need, when it is either sought or given as a way to shield the person, temporarily, from reality it can be very dangerous. As leaders we do need to find ways to ensure we are looking for reality and not reassurance.
