These statements sound very nice but as a leader of a team, how do you give your team a larger purpose? How do you translate something so lofty into something concrete and actionable. This little anecdote from one of my favourite business storytellers R Gopalakrishnan (Gopal) will definitely give you a few ideas. This incident happened in 1974 at Etah, Uttar Pradesh where Unilever had a dairy (yes!). The dairy produced skimmed milk powder (not sure what the brand was called) and Anik Ghee. Listen on!
